Here are more of my thoughts on reinventing World War II era victory gardens. Why not have a neighborhood meeting to talk about creating modern victory gardens? There are great way to make sure people in your vicinity or eating nutritious food. Think about collaborative work and eating opportunities related to your communities victory garden. Think about planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting across generations, ethnicities, and religious differences around something we all love, food. I can think of no better collaboration then elders working with toddlers and their parents as they plant, weed, water, and harvest produce.
