One of several books that Dr. Fulton successfully self published and sold. To my knowledge, they are out of print.

The Chicago Defender had a writer on its payroll in and around Dr. Alvenia Fulton’s (1893-1999) hometown of Pulaski Tennessee. In 1918, Ben Fulller served as the Defenders distributor in Pulaski; it's unclear if he is the author of the papers Pulaski entrees. The paper provides valuable insights into migration patterns from Pulaski to Chicago. Blacks from Pulaski had a history of migrating to larger cities like Nashville, Tennessee Birmingham and Decatur Alabama, Lexington Kentucky, Oklahoma, and Chicago Illinois. Fulton migrated from Pulaski to Chicago in the early 1950s but before her departure, we know that Will Polk and family migrated to Chicago along with Mary Butcher, Charles Phillips, brothers Glen and Will Nelson, and John Finch to name the few in which a documented history exist.
