Food And Student outcomes
Naturopath Dr. Alvenia Fulton was born in Tennessee in 1893. From 1971 to 1972 Fulton wrote “Eating for Your Health and Strength,” a column in the Chicago Defender. During the CO-Vid pandemic, behavioral health professionals have been warning the public about rising levels of mental health concerns. Educators are talking about the impact of online learning and isolation on student outcomes. What did Fulton have to say about these and other related topics? Dr. Fulton wrote, no educator or behavioral health professional could intelligently discuss educational development and student outcomes without studying the research on the relationship between water consumption, food, and exercise learning and productivity.
