How to Create Healthy Eating and Drinking Habits
In her newspaper column “Eating for Your Health and Strength,” the Tennessee born naturopath Dr. Alvenia Fulton (1893-1999) provided help to her reader’s problems. A reader wrote, what do you do if you’re addicted to poor food choices? Fulton responded, get help creating new eating and drinking habits that include lots of water and teas infused with lemon and sweeteners like stevia, monk fruit, and other no calorie sweeteners. Consume plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, and protein rich foods such as cooked legumes, lean cuts of chicken, turkey, and fish high in omega 3 fatty acids prepared in healthy ways that taste great to you. A great resource is Dr. Don Colbert’s book The Seven Pillars of Health.
