Today we continue the series on good nutrition and the work of Dr. Alvenia M. Fulton. This story highlights practices that city-dwellers can adopt to promote a healthy lifestyle.
For those who are healthy and live in urban environments, Dr. Fulton shares these suggestions:
Consume natural foods loaded with vital ingredients when possible such as 2 to 3 tablespoons of brewer’s yeast rich in vitamin B complex, which helps keep illness away. The same is true with 1 teaspoon of vitamin A, F and D concentrated. Consume cod liver oil each day. Your body will thank you for taking 2 to 3 teaspoons of wheat germ oil high in vitamin D per day. Add to that a daily-recommended amount of mineral laden bone meal, kelp flakes full of iodine and trace minerals (use as a salt substitute) and you're really supercharging your body. A tablespoon of lecithin taken daily aids the body in absorbing food. 2 tablespoons of whey powder is an excellent source of minerals and B vitamins.
