Hot Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

1 pint milk

1/4 cup sugar

2 eggs whites

2 cups flour

1/2 cup butter

2 yeast packages

Salt to taste

 Instructions

Sift salt and flour in bread pan with warm water; 1 teaspoon sugar and flour enough to make a batter. Place in warm place to rise for about 15 minutes. Put milk, water, and sugar in a saucepan on the stove until butter melts. Stir altogether and add yeast to this and mix in bread pan together with eggs well beaten. Make into dough and let rise until very light. After that roll out thin and cut with a biscuit cutter and spread with butter; fold each over and place in a buttered pan. Cover the tops of roles with egg whites which makes the rolls glossy.
