Naturopath Dr. Alvenia Fulton’s (1893 to 1999) earned a PhD nutrition from Donsbach University in Huntington Beach, California, ND in naturopathy from Lincoln College of naturopathy in Indianapolis, Indiana, a degree in nutrition from the American Institute of Science in Indianapolis, Indiana. Fulton earned the majority of her nutrition related degrees in mid-late 1950s at a time in which educational and medical accreditation institutions held holistic medicine in contempt. To date, I have not been able to find sufficient sources to learn more about Lincoln College of naturopathy. This is not to diminish Dr. Fulton's credentials, but to point out a gap in the historiography of medicine that I hope another scholar will close. If you know more about Lincoln College please write and share where the location of sources where I can learn more.
