Tea Aids in Digestion

A. L. Tommie Bass (1908-1996) had been an Appalachian Herbalist near Lookout Mountain in Alabama. Is an interesting caste observation he made about tea consumption during his lifetime he says poor folk often could not afford the price of coffee, and as a result they traditionally preferred to drink tea. Dr. Fulton said digestion begins in the mouth and drinking peppermint or chickweed tea with honey and lemon aids while you eat will help digest your food faster.
