Today we share a modern culinary entrepreneur story focusing on Tyrone Legette. I heard a wonderful segment on the show Only a Game hosted by Bill Littlefield. It is a NPR show about sports. The Segment was about former NFL Player Tyrone Legette who before the start of his professional sports career he decided to live way below his means, invest, and save like few players in the league so after his career was over he could live like few former NFL players do. As an entrepreneur Legette opened a grocery store in Brownfields, Louisiana which had become a food desert.  Former professional athletes Will Allen and Jason Brown have also started noteworthy food related initiatives.
